about

We want to thank everyone so much for supporting us and allowing us to continue to put out music and play around the country in support of our songs. You guys are the reason we are able to do this, and the reason that we continue to do this. We worked so hard and put in an incredible amount of time to write and record these songs, so we hope you enjoy them and learn the words to scream back at us! Super shout out to Mike from Cannon Found Soundation who helped take our songs to the next level and help us along the process. Also shout out to Amanda Andreucci for the insanely awesome album art. Lastly, a huge thanks to all of our family for supporting us and allowing us to take on this journey of playing music.

Track Name: House Special 2
Another stop in the valley to the town that I grew up in
At our hot spot off of 309, the Coop D breakfast smell is flowing
I'll take House Special 2 in the corner booth we used to frequent once a week
This town's not down like I remember, but every time I'm here I feel I've hit my peak

'Cause whenever I come back here, my high school memories eat me alive
Like the candy in my cabinet or this thirteen hour drive
Keep straight, there's a roadmap on my phone
Don't you worry I'll be back again, I'll call you when I'm home

I can't stand another holiday where everyone asks "Where is your life going?"
'Cause I'm working at my fastest pace, but it seems to be slowing
My mind is always racing when I try to fall asleep
All my friends are moving forward but I'm still trying to find me

'Cause whenever I come back here, my high school memories eat me alive
Like the candy in my cabinet or this thirteen hour drive
Keep straight, there's a roadmap on my phone
Don't you worry I'll be back again, I'll call you when I'm home

All the wrong disguised as right
Late nights and bloodshot eyes
I'm losing sleep
Are you telling me that this is how it's going to be?
'Cause whenever I come back here
My high school memories eat me alive

'Cause whenever I come back here, my high school memories eat me alive
Like the candy in my cabinet or this thirteen hour drive
Keep straight, there's a roadmap on my phone
Don't you worry I'll be back again, I'll call you when I'm home
Call you when I'm home
Track Name: Over and Over
Off in the distance a whistle echoes through the empty space
and right on through my head, just like your reaching out for me
Haunted by a nightmare, poisoned by your blank stare
What do you call a nightmare when you're wide awake

My mother warned me to keep my friends close
But I tossed them aside
Then I came back begging on my knees pleading have mercy
'cause two years now and I'm alone again
but I'm not

When I was younger, the world felt smaller
but the ceiling really never felt quite so high
Now that I'm older and the roof is caving in on me
Everything is moving so much faster now
I can't believe the past 3 years took only half an hour
Worn eyes, gray skies
you've been reaching out your hand the whole time
I capsized, but you still pulled me from the rip tide

My mother warned me to keep my friends close
but I tossed them aside
Then I came back begging on my knees pleading have mercy
cause two years now and I'm alone again
but I'm not

Over and over and over and over and over again

I let you down, I let you down
I let you down, I let you down
I let you down, I let you down

Over and over and over and over and over again
Track Name: Consciously Comatose
Coasting down Main Street through the dog days of the summer
Feel the burly arms of August sun rays reaching through the shutters
To hold the fort down like you always kept me grounded
with your steady hands to trim the fat from the mistakes I compounded

Standing at the pearly gates, that's how the story goes
Static in serenity, consciously comatose
Anxiety shatters my dreams to disaster and haunts me forever
but not today

I'm back on training wheels but your not there to guide me
I was dauntless, now I'm feeble like a house built out of glass
My knees, they start to buckle like I wish I had
If I could see into the future I would have braced myself to crash

Standing at the Pearly Gates, that's how the story goes
Static in serenity, consciously comatose
Anxiety shatters my dreams to disaster, and haunts me forever
but not today

I try to run but I'm stuck in place,
cause you've been stepping on my heels, getting in my way
Most nights I lay awake, always staring off at the ceiling
I lost my footing in the foreign terrain,
the wick is burning like I'm yearning for my strength again
I'm burnt down to nothing, I'm left with nothing
I gave it all

I just want you to know, your words induced this state of mind
The next time that you fall, I hope you miss the weight that I
Felt level my foundation, a hurricane that won't die down
The scars are like a sharpie but
their permanence won't force me to drown
Track Name: Father Time
Outside, the cold bit my tongue
Or you'd be smiling back at me
Underneath the mistletoe
Right beside the christmas tree
You were the sound of boots tapping up on top the roof,
and I was just the music in the background

I'm just another spoiled kid,
Who thinks Christmas comes every day
How it hurts to face the growing pains and Father Time
He said "Kid I know it sucks to hear,
But Christmas comes just once a year
and only sticks around if you're lucky"

"You're just playing around" they say
"Christ you're not a teenager anymore,
close the door", I think I'll leave it open,
I just can't seem to close it, I just can't seem to close it

I'm just another spoiled kid,
Who thinks Christmas comes every day
How it hurts to face the growing pains and Father Time
He said "Kid I know it sucks to hear,
But Christmas comes just once a year
and only sticks around if you're lucky"

Why won't you take it from where we left off,
A Christmas with no alcohol
I need you to tell me when I'm wrong from right,
Kiss me with a roll of dice
I'm just scared of the change, what I'm growing into
I don't want to be anyone but me but that's hard to do

I'm just another spoiled kid,
Who thinks Christmas comes everyday,
How it hurts to face the growing pains

I'm just another spoiled kid,
Who thinks Christmas comes every day
How it hurts to face the growing pains and Father Time
He said "Kid I know it sucks to hear,
But Christmas comes just once a year
and only sticks around if you're lucky"

I guess I was lucky

I was just another spoiled kid,
you taught me what it's like to live
and ruined me for anyone else
Track Name: Cambridge
Rain drops tap against your window
at the same beat as your pen
slowing down again, slowing down
You want to end the suffocation, escape the toxic air
Even when the sun is shining bright
I didn't even realize just how bad you've been

I'm here to tell you that it gets better,
so take a step, back from the ledge
Let's talk about where we are going,
and reminisce on where we've been
Sleepless nights, a sickened stomach,
Those silent tears that you never shed
If only you could see, that without you
I wouldn't be me

Frame the mental pictures, and hang them on your wall
as a constant reminder that you get up when you fall
You're back on your feet, I wish that you could see
the wasted days in Fournier were life lessons you took away

I'm here to tell you that it gets better,
so take a step, back from the ledge
Let's talk about where we are going,
and reminisce on where we've been
Sleepless nights, a sickened stomach,
Those silent tears that you never shed
If only you could see, that without you
I wouldn't be me
Track Name: Back Room
I spend so much time thinking about how fucking sad I've been
My mind is spacing to our frameworks weekend structure that crumbled down,
the pictures are torn and frayed, abandoned by your basement couch
A shattered hourglass with no sand, the ghost of you still reaches towards my hand
Why can't you just leave me behind

It's our time again,
when everyone is home,
We go in the back room and sing along
When the night turns dawn,
and everyone moves on,
I hope to god they give us one last song,
to sing along

I woke up to the sound of Soupy,
telling me that it gets better, the pillows tumble off my bed
The comforter is tangled at my feet
I spent this week, with my notes on Walden
Solitarily
too dark to see, but I'll be home tonight so don't wait up for me

It's our time again,
when everyone is home,
we go in the back room and sing along
When the night turns dawn,
and everyone moves on,
I hope to god they give us one last song
to sing along

It's our time again,
when everyone is home,
we go in the back room and sing along
When the night turns dawn,
and everyone moves on,
I hope to god they give us one last song
to sing along

It's our time again,
when everyone is home,
we go in the back room and sing along
When the night turns dawn,
and everyone moves on,
I hope to god they give us one last song
to sing along
